Adult Lifecare Facilities (ALFs) are residential care facilities providing housing, meals, personal care and supportive services to older persons and disabled adults who are unable to live independently.

The functions and features are similar to the skilled nursing facility but with a reduced need for medical supervision and charting.

Census

The Census maintains a record of residents and their paysource information. Room changes, admissions, discharges, transfers and changes are recorded daily. This information, together with the resident's paysource data, is combined to auto-generate Room and Board charges. A complete history of all changes is maintained for auditing and statistical purposes.

Preview Bills and Corrections

Generate the bills and review the Sales Journal. If any problems are detected the errors can be corrected and the billing rerun. The Billing routine generated temporary bills until they are posted to the history file. This provides you with the opportunity to correct bills before committing the data to the Accounts Receivable.
