Omnicare pharmacy clients can now access the OmniView Dashboard directly from the Optimum User Interface by clicking on the Information Pagetab. No longer does the user have to open a separate browser to access information in the OmniView Portal.

Functions have been added to provide enable the use of biometric fingerprint identification devices to authentic the users who entered the data. Positive Id serves as the user’s Electronic Signature ensuring that the individual who entered or updated the orders is the same person that logged into the system.
Advanced Software AutoUpdater
Installing applications on user computers is only a part of the job. After the installation, we need to keep the software and SQL tables up to date as fix and enhancements are released. To automate the update process, ADL has developed an Advanced Auto-Updater which checks over the Internet with the ADL Update Server for new software releases, fixes and updates .
Mobile Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE)
Mobile EHR/CPOE enables physicians and nurses to improve patient care by ensuring the safety of every prescription written. The Computerized Physician Order Entry is an easy-to-use, software solution that is safe and secure. The physician orders for the patient are accessible from your computer, handheld device and/or cell phone.
Nursing can send immediate notifications to the attending physician regarding any changes in condition or modifications needed to physician orders for a patient. Multiple options are provided to sending alerts are available.
Print Using Multiple Attached Local Label Printers
New feature handles multiple label printers attached to the same PC. This enables printing different size labels without having to change the print cartridge.
For example: A 3/8" label might be used for the patient bracelet and a 1" Label for the Resident's Room nameplate. With a single label printer the task is cumbersome requiring the user to change the cartridges in the printer each time a set of labels needs to be printed.
OpimumSeries Document Imaging and Archiving
Document Imaging can be added to your Optimum Graphical Interface. Documents can be scanned for Patients, Accounts Payable, General Ledger or any other OptimumSeries module. Bring the power and convenience of commercial document imaging to your organization as a very attractive price.
Print Strip Labels - New Button Added to Interface
A new button has been added to the top of the Optimum interface to print patient name and barcode data to an attached label printer. When the button is clicked, the program send data to a Brother P-Touch 1500PC printer attached locally to your computer. The labels can be used to create the patient bracelets, labels for scanning applications, and cloth labels to iron into the patient's clothing.
MDS Interface TO NYAHSA/FLTC EQUIP System
ADL has developed an interface to NYSAHA's EQUIP system. Now your MDS submissions can automatically update the your EQUIP database making easier to use their Continuous Quality Improvement software. EQUIP analyzes the MDS submisison and can produce reports that are used by clinical staff and administrators at more than 400 long term care facilities to:
