Hip-Hope™ is a smart wearable device, designed as a belt, worn around the user’s waist. A multi-sensor-type fall detection system activates two large size airbags, wrapping and protecting the wearer’s hips, once an impending collision of the pelvis with ground surface is detected. Fall alert messages are automatically sent by the device.
