The website allows teachers to search based on subject and grade level and returns a variety of resources that can be used with students. These resources include videos, interactive lessons, and activities that can be used to supplement what is being taught in the classroom. Additionally, the website provides full lesson plans for teachers on a variety of topics. The lesson plans include information about learning objectives, preparations that the teacher needs to do before the lesson, additional resources, and a general outline of how the lesson should be implemented. Importantly, the website also provides extensive information about regional and national education standards, so that teachers can plan their lessons accordingly. PBS LearningMedia provides excellent resources for teachers who find themselves in a pinch for a lesson plan, or who are looking to add to their typical classroom activities.
